Roger Dodger Aviation, LLC is hosting a fund-raising event for the American
Diabetes Association. The New York to Los Angeles Transcontinental Challenge
for Diabetes is a virtual flight across the United States in a sophisticated flight
simulator. Volunteers will take turns at the controls of the simulator and fly in
shifts so the entire 20-hour flight will be completed in one weekend.
You don't have to be a pilot to fly the simulator!
The event is open to the public - people can come and watch the pilots fly over the
American countryside as it is displayed on a large projector screen.
Enjoy delicious reduced-sugar ice cream donated by Hy Vee Grocery Store.
The NY2LA event is on Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18, 2007.
